Lantern Cossite was a guard of the Oan sciencells. He was seduced and subsequently murdered by Prixiam Nol-Anj, who used him as an escape.

Lantern Cossite was Vilgashian, a race that lives on fourteen worlds across four sectores and comprised of approximately two hundred billion beings. He guarded the Oan sciencells until Prixiam Nol-Anj seduced him and tricked him into believing she loved him. Under this impression, he released her, where he watched a star sapphire ring choose Nol-Anj, which only solidified his belief of her love. Moments later, though, she used her new powers to kill him.
When the lanterns later found him, dead, he was being gnawed on by Larfleeze's constructs in the mess hall.
