BIOGRAPHY:

Blish hailed from the planet Graxos V and received the power ring after the death of Ebikar Hrui, who had received it himself after the legendary Green Lantern Fentara of Graxos IV died at the hands of Legion during the events of the first Emerald Dawn.

Blish was later believed to have been one of the many Lanterns who died in the invasion of Qward during the Power War. He was memorialized within the Crypts of Oa. His power ring would later choose his predecessor Fentara's daughter, Arisia, as its next wielder.

Blackest Night: Tales of the Corps

Arisia, Blish's niece witnesses Blish's homecoming and funeral.

Tales of the Sinestro Corps

Blish finds Karu-Sil, and believes he saves her from a pack of beast. Not realizing she was part of the beasts pack he takes her back to Graxos IV where she was institutionalizes after ripping apart a Psychologist.

The Revenge of the Renegade!

Blish would meet Hal Jordan when the Earth man rescued Blish from an ambush staged by the renegade Lantern Sinestro. Sinestro set his trap at the intersection of sector 2814 and 2815. When Jordan discovered the trap he rescued Blish at the expense of letting Sinestro escape. Blish was initially upset with the Earth man's decision, as the customs of Graxos V valued justice over mercy.

Blackest Night

During the Blackest Night, Blish along many other Fallen Lanterns was raised by a black power ring and became a Black Lantern.
