  • Black Siren's first appearance was in the two-part Justice League episode "Legends." She was an analogue of the Golden Age Black Canary who was a member of the Justice Guild, a team of heroes based on the Justice Society of America. Like the rest of her teammates, she was eventually revealed to be an elaborate mental illusion created by Ray, the Justice Guild's former child sidekick. In reality, Black Siren and the rest of the Justice Guild members perished years earlier during an apocalyptic event caused by a nuclear war between the United States and an unidentified foreign nation. She was voiced by Jennifer Hale.
  • A similar character called Scream Queen appeared as in Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths as part of the Crime Syndicate.

She is the evil alternate universe counterpart of the deceased Laurel Lance, and originates from Earth-2. She first show up in Flash's second season, where she is one of the Earth-2 villains working for Zoom. She is defeated, but is later freed and continues her crimes on Earth-1 as part of the Arrow TV series, eventually being forced to pose as Earth-1's Laurel at the behest of Prometheus. After encountering Quentin Lance, Laurel's father, she gradually grows as a person and changes for the better, eventually becoming an anti-hero rather than an outright villain.
