Bigfoot originally fought alongside Doll Man, Human Bomb, Phantom Lady and the Ray in S.H.A.D.E., but later hunted them down when they left to become Freedom Fighters. Bigfoot confronted the Human Bomb and the two fought. Human Bomb accidentally killed him when, trying to knock him out, he used too much of his power and killed him instead. Human Bomb was devastated over what he had done.
