After witnessing Scarecrow commit a crime, Becky Albright refused to recant her testimony, resulting in her kidnapping and exposure to fear toxin that was utilised to discover her greatest fear. Becky appears to have some deformities such as scoliosis or even cerebral palsy and is worried about how other people perceive her, a trait that Jonathan Crane shares.

Scarecrow eventually stopped tormenting her and attempted to recruit her as his "Mistress of Fear", implying that he had developed a liking to her. Becky declines and is saved by Batman who remarks: "It looks like she is your greatest fear Dr. Crane".
