Star Trek Canon Special Note
Not everything listed in the origin is Canon.  That is because only television shows and movies are considered canon.  This being a comic website there are many things here that are not canon.  So unless it is contradicted in film it should be listed as part of the character biography.  
 
Moves-With-Burning-Grace is a human who grew up on the planet Eristas.  His peoples migration was part of the first expansion from earth.  His people also have a religions aspect with speed and engineering.   He is the Chief Engineer of the U.S.S. Enterprise under Captain Christopher Pike.
 
Moves-With-Burning-Grace is extremely tall it is unknown if that is unusual for his race.  He also wears a crown like band on his head and he also has some sort of red warpaint that he wears on his face.  These aspects are never explained and it is not explained if it is something that is unique to his people.

Creation

Moves-With-Burning-Grace was created in the comics not the television series to fill out Pike's crew.  There are some questions as to his head dress what it is and why/how he was allowed to wear it when many other races were not even allowed to were thing like the Bajoran's earnings without special permission.
