Joseph Frost first appears in Resident Evil 1 in the comic and the game. He is killed off in the first cutscene by a pack of zombie dogs. It is discovered in the book Resident Evil: the Umbrella Conspiracy that Joseph is the joker of the group and came up with Brad Vickers nickname Chickenheart. Joseph is a maintenance supervisor for S.T.A.R.S. alpha team.
