The Glyph
The Glyph appears to all intents and purposes as a benign force in the world, though its reluctance to communicate means its motives are unknown. When Professor Hieronymus Higgins attempted to withdraw linear time from the vicinity of our galaxy, the Glyph restored order by shifting backwards into a negative dimension and rewiring the brain of Higgins’ doppleganger, causing a paradigm burnout and locking out Higgins from his own existence.
