Leon Kinski was once a normal man, living in Paris, France. His unanswered love for Kathleen drove him to seek out Anton, a pharmacist. There, he bought Saint Victor's Dissolution, said to unlock his restrictions. Shortly after drinking it, he mutated into his current form. He later discovered that Kathleen had double-crossed him by asking Anton to give Kinski the wrong dissolution. Instead, Anton drank the right dissolution, making him more beautiful for Kathleen. Distraught, Kinski joined the Nightbreed in Midian.
