Much of Johnny's life is left unknown; however, it was confirmed by Norton that he was killed by a pack of Zombies before he was reanimated.

Creation

Brick Head Johnny was created by Eric Powell for 'The Goon' comic series.

Major Story Arcs

The Goon Volume 1

Not much was known about Brick Head Johnny before he was killed; however, Norton tells The Goon and Franky that Johnny was killed by a pack of zombies. Later on during Johnny's funeral service he is reanimated as a member of the undead and attacks The Goon & Franky, knocking Franky out and subduing The Goon long enough for The G-Men to arrive and help knock him out. It is learned that Johnny made a deal with the Zombie Priest that was just too good to resist; hence why he turned on his friend, The Goon.

The Goon: Color Special

After his fight with The Goon, Johnny had been hiding in the back of Smeagle's Bakery, having been hidden there for nearly two weeks. He was assaulted by The Goon & Franky after they found out his location, the duo still angry with him after their previous encounter. In an attempt to save his undead hide told the duo where the Matheson Coin Collection was hidden, asking that the two of them release him as payment due to their history as "pals". In response to this The Goon informed Johnny that he isn't going to be "pals" with no stinkin' zombie, he then shot Johnny in the head, killing him.
